2025 West Virginia Hillfest Rookie Orientation Day will be on August 7th, 12-5pm! Although we announced it yesterday I personally wanted to say a huge Thank You to Tracy Gaudu Luke McGrew and Luke Tantlinger for their commitment to helping make this a safe event for the many first time participants who are making this event their introduction to the sport of Hillclimb
Their combined years of knowledge and experience on race tracks and hillclimb competitions will be invaluable to the incoming class of novice drivers.
The orientation day is free to registered participants and allows the novice drivers to learn both in the classroom and through lead follow sessions up the mountain to help eliminate pitfalls and the fear of the unknown. Allowing drivers to feel more comfortable and be safer overall. 🙏
