What an amazing experience my first Holley LS Fest East 2024 was and it is an event that makes it great to truly love cars!! #LSswaptheworld
The schedule to run as a Grand Champion competitor was very hectic but the car ran well and I am pretty proud of finishing 21st out of 93 drivers in the Late Model class! The events we ran were definitely NOT in my “wheel house” and getting used to smaller street tires took some time but I so enjoyed competing and the challenge of getting those times down!! It was awesome seeing old friends and meeting new ones!
I finally was at the same event Lingenfelter Performance Engineering was and two of my teammates, Dirk Stratton and Danny Popp were there too! Felt great to have the team there. Thanks Rand Phillips for all the pics and video you took of the car!
Special thank you to Randy Adkins for letting me take your spot at this event, for keeping me on schedule and getting us to where we needed to be, AND for helping fix that flat tire on Sunday in the Speed Stop! You saved the day!! I appreciate all you did so I could focus on driving and not deal with everything else that needed to be done. 🧡
On the tow home Sunday all I could think about was how blessed I am to have these different driving experiences! I have had my busiest year as a racer this year and I have tried different events to keep pushing my boundaries and comfort zones.
This will only make me better and how fun it is to #PlayAllTheMotorsports!!
