Road Atlanta Weekend Update!!!
It was a scorcher this past weekend but fun was had at the NASA Southeast and NASA Gulf South combined event!!!
Car ran really well on the Just Track It, LLC friday test day. Got reacquainted with the track as it had been quite some time since I had ran my car there. The Lingenfelter Performance Engineering Eliminator Spec R 427 LS7 ran extremely strong!!! 👊🏻
Super Unlimited was a stacked class with very talented drivers and their incredible machines. The heat was high and managing the temps in the car was something I definitely thought about and was able to do. Short shifting and at times just slowing things down helped keep the car happy.
I did have issues with my alternator and this wasn’t my first rodeo with alternator issues. It’s my 3rd one to leave the chat unexpectedly but this one finally popped the regulator about halfway into the sunday afternoon race. By a miracle we made it to the checkered flag and back to the trailer.
No one wanted to play and Team Tracy Motorsport took the win that race!! 🏆
I am SO glad the car held out long enough to finish!!

On the way home about 30 miles up I-85 I had a pretty bad flat on the trailer! I was able to get off the road easily and quickly started to change it. I’m inside the trailer getting my 4-way and who pulls up to help? Jack Stanford!! Thank you Jack for stopping to assist me!
Next up!!! Quickly getting the car ready for the Pagoda Hillclimb with Pennsylvania Hillclimb Association next weekend, June 22-23, near Reading, PA. Hoping to make it!!!
Racing with the Southeast Region in National Auto Sport Association takes a short break over the summer so i’ll be running as many hillclimbs as possible.
