Where do I start? 🏔️
This weekend was an incredibly fun whirlwind and I met the nicest folks from the PHA (Pennsylvania Hillclimb Association) and the town of Weatherly.
You all made me feel so welcomed and after a short 2 days together you made me feel like a part of your family! It was awesome to meet so many folks who eat/sleep/breathe hillclimbing.
A new hill is always challenging but so many of you helped me and again just being up at that start line was a big “mental hurtle”. I took a deep breath and pressed on, put thoughts of Flagrock behind me, and cranked up the comfort level slowly as I learned the hill. I could feel the “old hillclimb Tracy” coming back at the end of the day Saturday and that was exciting.
Car loved the cool air and ran great!!!
I had goals for this event and improving each run was achieved and getting into the 50s was obtained. So thrilled! I have a personal best to beat next year and I will be back!
Winning first place in the SMX class was not a goal I had but it was a nice achievement for me! 🥇🏆🏁

New hills and new friends can’t be beat!
